Tastebutter.com was created by Kerrygold Butter to help consumers experience how butters can taste and perform very differently. The tasting guide and score sheets were developed with information synthesized from a butter tasting by Food & Wine magazine and a tasting conducted by Kerrygold with San Francisco chefs and food professionals. The how to taste guides and accompanying score sheets were reviewed by Emily Luchetti, executive pastry chef of Farallon Restaurant in San Francisco, cookbook author and James Beard Foundation best pastry chef of the year (2004); and Ari Weinzweig, co-founder of Zingerman’s in Ann Arbor, Michigan, renowned retailer of specialty foods, and author of Zingerman’s Guide to Good Eating.
